North Kingstown Application For Outdoor Dining

NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI — North Kingstown restaurants wishing to offer outdoor seating when it is allowed under state guidelines starting May 18 are encouraged to submit applications to the town.

Applications must include a site plan for seating. Those planning to use a tent must also apply for a tent permit.

Other guidelines for operation from the Rhode Island Department of Health must also be followed.

Any additional electrical or mechanical work — adding outdoor electrical receptacles, natural gas/propane heaters —needed for the outdoor space will need to be applied for on an electrical mechanical permit by the licensed profession doing the work.
