North Kingstown Arts Council Launches ArtVenture Program
The program will allow artists to display their work throughout the town this spring.
NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI — The North Kingstown Arts Council is encouraging residents to participate in ArtVenture, a new program that will display artwork throughout the town this spring.
From May 8 through May 23, the works submitted by selected artists will be hidden along nature trails and on historic grounds in North Kingstown as part of an effort to get people outside, learn about their surroundings, and search for original creations.
Artists who are chosen to participate in the program will have their work promoted online and will be invited to attend the Rediscover NK Festival on August 28 to sell their work and encourage art in the community.
