North Kingstown Beach Concert Series Begins
Summer rhythm seekers should look no further than the North Kingstown Town Beach.

NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI — The North Kingstown Arts Council and Centreville Bank have announced the musicians that will headline its weekly free Summer Concert Series this month.
All three acts are made up of Rhode Island natives and span the gamut of musical genres:
- Whiskey Rhode, a classic rock band plays tonight at 6:30 p.m.
- Panoramic View, playing steel pan Caribbean-style music will perform on Aug. 16 at 6:30
- Governor's Own 88th Army Band, composed of Rhode Island Army National Guardsmen will take the stage on Aug. 23 at 6 p.m.
Spectators are asked to bring their own seating to North Kingston Town Beach. Watching each performance is free of charge, donations to artists are accepted and encouraged. If necessary, the rain location for each concert will be at North Kingstown High School. For more information, visit the North Kingstown Dept. of Recreation.
