North Kingstown Beach Playground To Close For Construction
The playground will close for the rest of the winter beginning Monday, Jan. 18.
NORTH KINGSTOWN, MA — North Kingstown Beach Campus Playground will be closing for construction starting Monday, January 18.
The closing is in preparation for the spring opening of a new and improved playground, according to a Facebook post from the town.
"We apologize for the inconvenience and promise it will be worth the wait," says the post. "We invite you to explore many of our other playgrounds in town during construction."

The playground construction is being funded by a $400,000 grant from Governor Gina Raimondo and the Department of Environmental Management (DEM). The improvements will include renovated walkways and surfacing, an accessible exercise area, four accessible parking spaces, bike parking, picnic tables and benches, a sensory garden, and new landscaping.
