North Kingstown To Begin Limited Opening Of Municipal Offices

Starting Tuesday, municipal offices will be open by appointment only for those having trouble with online services.

NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI — North Kingstown Municipal Office Building offices will be reopen by appointment only for those requiring in-person services starting Tuesday.

Offices will be open from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. each business day. Those who can complete business remotely via phone or online are encouraged to still do so.

Offices will be closed Friday due to the Fourth of July holiday.

A greeter will be stationed at the entrance of the Municipal Office Building with every visitor asked to sign in and provide information. A visitor badge will then be given and directions given to the proper office destination.

Visitors will be required to wear a mask, as will all employees dealing with the pubic. Special arrangements will be made for those wearing masks. Everyone is encouraged to social distance.

Anyone who is feeling sick is urged to refrain from visiting the building.

Parks, playgrounds, town beach and the golf course are all open with additional personnel to regularly maintain restrooms and facilities.

The Senior Center remains closed and is being used as a food distribution center for residents in need.
