North Kingstown Football Team Celebrates Third Straight Title
North Kingstown quarterback James Osmanski delivered four touchdowns in 28-19 victory against Cranston West in the Div. 1 state final.
NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI — The North Kingstown football team won the Division 1 Super Bowl with a 28-19 victory against Cranston West on Saturday. It is the third straight state championship for the Skippers.
North Kingstown won the Division 2 title in 2017 and the Division 1 title the past two years.

North Kingstown took a 7-0 lead on a touchdown pass from James Osmanski to Shane Kenyon in the first quarter. Osmanski's 8-yard run then put North Kingstown up 13-0.
It was 13-0 at the half, but Cranston West cut the gap to 13-7 midway through the third quarter. Osmanski then found Kenyon a second time for a 21-7 lead with 5:17 left in the third.

Cranston West got within one score a second time before Osmanski hit Tyler Pezza with a 30-yard strike on fourth-and-9 before Osmanski took in the score from a yard out on his way to being named game Most Valuable Player.
