North Kingstown Man Charged With Drug Crimes: State Police
State Police charged Stephen L. Matteson, 37, with two counts of possession with intent to sell marijuana.

NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI — A North Kingstown man has been charged with two counts of possession with intent to sell marijuana and possession of more than five kilograms of marijuana. State Police arrest Stephen Matteson, 37, was arrested Thursday after a joint investigation among task forces.
The State Police Intelligence Unit, the High-Intensity Drug Trafficking Area Task Force and the Violent Fugitive Task Force, along with the FBI Safe Streets Task Force, charged Matteson with two counts of possession with intent to deliver marijuana, possession of five grams of marijuana, possession with intent to deliver butane honey oil and controlled substance conspiracy.
Matteson was processed at State Police Headquarters and later arraigned in Third District Court where bail was set at $30,000.
