Man Found Shot To Death In North Kingstown

NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI — A man was found shot to death on Peachtree Road Wednesday afternoon, according to police.

At about 4:13 p.m., officers received multiple calls of a person firing gunshots at a home at 100 Peachtree Road, police said. Officers found a white man with a gun lying dead on the road in front of the home, police said. Police did not identify the man.

Three people inside the home were not hurt, police said.

Police said they are interviewing witnesses to figure out what happened. The state Medical Examiner's Office was called to the scene.
