North Kingstown Police Support Breast Cancer Awareness

Police officers are wearing special pink patches this month in support of breast cancer awareness.

NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI — Police officers in North Kingstown are wearing special pink patches this month to support breast cancer awareness as part of the Pink Patch Project. The patches are being worn as October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Members of the public can also purchase their own pink patches in support of the project.

The patches are $10 each and can be purchased through the office of the police chief, between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. The funds will go to support breast cancer awareness, support and treatment efforts.
