The last round of college-sponsored National Merit Scholarships have been announced, and a North Kingstown student is one of the winners.
NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI — The last round of college-sponsored National Merit Scholarships have been announced, and a North Kingstown student is one of the winners. Sophie L. Girard, a graduate of North Kingstown High, will attend Tufts University. The school has given her a National Merit Scholarship. She's expected to major in environmental engineering.
