State budget uncertainty due to the coronavirus is causing a delay in the bills.
NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI — North Kingstown is delaying the issuance of motor vehicle tax bills due to the coronavirus health emergency.
Town officials said they are awaiting to passage of the state budget before making a final determination on the current motor vehicle tax phase-out program. The delay is to avoid the cost of having to send a supplemental bill at a later date.
