Obituary: Catherine C. Legge, 87

Legge, Catherine C., (Dodd), 87, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at RI Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Master Sergeant Richard K. Legge, USMC (Ret) and a daughter of the late Thomas and Irene (Scally) Dodd. Catherine was employed as an assembler for General Electric and Kenney Mfg. before retiring. She was the mother of the late Steven M. Legge; sister of Clifford Dodd and the late Thomas Dodd, Irene Corbin, Gertrude Schaeffer and Edward Dodd; grandmother of Stephanie White, her husband, Sam and Michael Legge; great grandmother of Calley and Channing White.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday, March 15, 2015 at 9 am from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Timothy Church, Warwick Ave., Warwick at 10 am. Burial will be in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours Monday 4-7 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Disabled American Veterans of RI, One Capitol Hill, Providence, RI 02908, will be appreciated.
