Obituary: Clarence A. “Cappy” Parker, Jr., 72

Clarence A. “Cappy” Parker, Jr., 72, of Brooksville, Fla., formerly of Wickford, died peacefully on Saturday, Nov. 23. He was the beloved husband of Virginia (McVay) Parker for 51 years. Born in Wickford, he was the son of the late Clarence A. and Mary A. (Ward) Parker.

Mr. Parker was employed as a data processing manager for ADP & Wingate of Providence, and for Bank of America in Tampa, Fla. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and a communicant of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Wickford. 

Besides his wife, he leaves his four loving children, Christopher Parker and his wife Lisa of Tampa, Fla., Cynthia Parker of Port Ritchie, Fla., Kimberly Connell and her husband Michael of Lutz, Fla., and Kristin Loerns and her husband Andrew of Lutz, Fla. Cherished grandfather of eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was the brother of Cynthia A. Carter of Harrisville, Constance A. Emry of Exeter, and Clare A. Parker of Exeter.
