Open Studios Weekend At Shady Lea
Admission is free, but everyone's asked to bring a canned good for the North Kingstown Food Bank. And here are some other shopping ideas.

NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI — Shady Lea Mill holds the annual open studios weekend from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Dec. 2 and 3. This is the twentieth year for the opportunity to meet with the artists and artisans and watch the creative process. Admission is free, but visitors are asked to bring a canned good to donate to the North Kingstown Food Bank.
"It has been said the Shady Lea has a pulse of its own, the feel of a community in action, a celebration of diversity," organizers said. "If you haven't experienced us yet, this is the year. Treat yourself and join in the magic that is the Shady Lea Mill."
Leading up to open studios weekend, here are some other events on the Patch Calendar.
