Pet Refuge Pets Of The Week: Chad & Chase

Chase is the all black kitty, and his brother Chad's gray and white. They're both love bugs.

By Rachel Wells, Pet Refuge

We have another bonded pair for you this week. This time it's Chad and Chase, both 11 months old. These two brothers came to The Refuge as two itty bitty, scared kittens who hadn’t ever known human contact. Throughout their time here staff and volunteers have worked with them to get them feeling safe and more comfortable being handled by people. Chad (gray and white) now loves to be snuggled and held and will chirp at us when he wants attention. Chase (all black) is a little slower to trust new people but follows his brother’s lead and enjoys pets and treats as well. They have come a really long way since being with us and we’d like to find a home for them together as they have been there for each other through all of these changes. The ideal home for these handsome boys would be a quiet one without young children -at least until they have adjusted to their new environment. Chad and Chase love to play and wrestle with one another (once they feel safe) and enjoy feather toys, laser pointers and little toy mice. For more info on these bonded brothers or any of our other adoptable cats and kittens please contact our shelter at 294-1115 or stop by the shelter located at 500 Stony Lane, North Kingstown.
