Pet Of The Week: Bodey

Bodey and his brother were left at Pet Refuge, and their owner never returned.

By Rachel Wells, Pet Refuge

Hey everyone! My name is Bodey and I am a sweet, seven year old, male. I’m on the huskier side but that just means that there is more of me to love!

Here’s the scoop, I’m a pretty chill guy and I am looking for an equally as chill companion to spend the rest of my days with. I love treats, being brushed, receiving “head noogies” and getting “butt scratchies.”

I lived in a home my whole life with my brother, Piff, up until recently. Our owner was going on a ten day vacation and waited until an hour before his flight boarded to bring us to the Pet Refuge. He promised my human friends here that he’d come back for us when he returned but that was months ago.

My brother and I have been recovering from this traumatic loss and now we’re ready and eager to find our furever people. Unfortunately for my brother, he tested positive for feline aids- which isn’t a big deal because we get along so well that I’ve never contracted it. That being said, we’d be okay with going to our furever home together or apart. I don’t mind other cats and would probably even be okay living with a dog.

If you’re interested in meeting me or any of my other buds here at the shelter please contact the staff at 401-294-1115 or stop by sometime! We’re located at 500 Stony Lane in North Kingstown.
