Pet Of The Week: Titan

Titan, 18 months old, likes to play. And he really needs someone committed to playtime once a day.

By Rachel Wells, Pet Refuge

NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI —Titan is a charismatic kitty who is looking for his furever home. This goofy guy sure is a looker and always wants to be wherever the party is at. He is a big boy with a lot of energy and charm and would really love to find someone who loves him for the quirky cat he is.

You see, Titan was born here at the shelter about a year and a half ago. He has been adopted and returned a total of three times because he is “too playful” and a tad “mischievous”. We are hoping this post finds his perfect match this time because no animal deserves to be adopted only to be returned six months later.

Potential adopters of Titan must know:

  1. He needs one on one playtime every day, whether this include, playing with feather toys, laser pointers or another feline friend who can handle his sass. If he does not receive one-on-one time he becomes very upset.
  2. No children under the age of 16, please. Titan likes to run around the house at hyper speed and with his size, could easily knock over a toddler. He would be best suited in an adult only home or one with older teens.
  3. He enjoys receiving snuggles and kisses but will let you know when he is done. Sometimes he just needs some “me” time, you know?
  4. He will want to get into anything you are doing. Wrapping Christmas presents? Titan will help. Cooking dinner? He wants to watch on the counter. Yoga? He’s weaving through your downward dog.

Forgive us for being so picky. We only want the best for our Titan. Unlike some of our shelter cats, he knows what a home is and therefore knows what he’s missing. If you’d like to meet Titan or learn about any of our other adoptables, our staff can be reached at 401-294-1115 or stop by our shelter located at 500 Stony Lane, North Kingstown, RI.
