RI Department Of Health Reopens North Kingstown's Town Beach
The Department of Health has determined that bacteria levels at North Kingstown's Town Beach have returned to safe levels.

NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI — The Rhode Island Department of Health recommended the reopening of Town Beach in North Kingstown to swimming Sunday morning after closing it due to high bacteria levels.
The beach was recommended to be closed to swimming Friday afternoon, but by Sunday morning the RIDOH said the bacteria levels are gone back to safe levels.
RIDOH will continue to monitor and review beach water quality regularly to ensure safe betting throughout the summer. The status of a beach may change as new data becomes available. The most up-to-date beach information is available through a recorded message on RIDOH's beaches telephone line at 401-222-2751.
