RI DUI Task Force Arrests 12 People Overnight: Police

North Kingstown police say the arrests were made the evening of St. Patrick's Day.

NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI — Twelve people were arrested by the Rhode Island DUI Task Force overnight on St. Patrick's Day, reported WPRI.

All 12 people were arrested on alcohol-related offenses, said North Kingstown Police Sgt. Don Barrington. The task force, which is made up of both state and local officers, was on patrol from 7 p.m. on March 17 to 3 a.m. on March 18 .

The RI DUI Task Force utilized its BAT Mobile, which acts as a portable police substation, to patrol the state beginning with South Kingstown.
