RI National Guard Honors Retiring Officers From North Kingstown
Deputy Police Chief Steve St. Onge and Lieutenant Colonel Kevin Barry both announced their retirement earlier this year.

NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI — The Rhode Island National Guard has recognized two retiring law enforcement leaders from North Kingstown, commending their service and dedication to the state.
Deputy Police Chief Steve St. Onge of the North Kingstown Police Department and Lieutenant Colonel Kevin Barry, Deputy Superintendent of the Rhode Island State Police (RISP), both announced their departure from their positions as law officials and were met with a ceremony held in their honor.
At the ceremony, Major General Christopher Callahan, Brigadier General Andrew Chevalier, Fire Chief Scott Kettelle, and North Kingstown residents gathered to recognize the retirees and present them with command coins.

As of June 20, Major Darnell S. Weaver of RISP has become the new Deputy Superintendent, taking over Barry's duties. The exact date of St. Onge's retirement from the North Kingstown Police Department has not yet been announced.
