School Cancelled Friday Due To Impending Snow

The North Kingstown School Department has cancelled school for Friday, Jan. 3., in advance of what is predicted to be a significant snow storm. This is the first snow day of the 2013-14 school year. 

Snow began early Thursday morning with slight accumulation during the day, prompting cancellation of afternoon kindergarten and after-school activities. Snow is predicted to intensify overnight Thursday and into Friday morning, with total snowfall anywhere from 6 to 10 inches.
