For over 70 years the Cocumscussoc Association has opened the doors of Smith’s Castle to Rhode Island residents and, increasingly, to guests from all over the world. You may have joined us to start our season in May, delighted in strawberry shortcake and fun in June, enjoyed a crisp day at Harvest Festival or welcomed in the holidays at Christmas at the Castle. You, or your child, may have learned about colonial life through one of our organization or school tours. You may have attended a lecture, historical conference or an afternoon tea, where authors and experts have shared their knowledge. Or you may have spent a pleasant and informative hour touring the house during the summer season to hear about its 400 years of historical significance from trained docents in colonial attire.

All of these events, and the maintenance of the 342 year old historical treasure which is Smith’s Castle, are only possible through continued community support. Your donation will ensure that Smith’s Castle and the educational work done under its aged roof will endure for future generations.

Your tax-exempt donation can be made through the Castle website at smithscastle.org or by sending a check to Smith’s Castle, 55 Richard Smith Drive, North Kingstown, RI 02852. Further information about the Castle and its programs is available on the website or by calling 401- 294-3521.
