Student Question Opportunity For 2018 State of Education

Students of all grade levels are invited to submit their questions.

Each year, the Commissioner of Elementary and Secondary Education delivers a report on the State of Education in Rhode Island. This year’s event will take place on March 19th and will once again feature a question and answer session where students can ask questions and/or address challenges.

Students of all grade levels are invited to submit their questions through an online submission form: available HERE, by March 7, 2018.

Students will be asked to include their name, school, grade level, and the question. Students whose questions are selected will be notified by Monday, March 12, and invited to ask their question directly at the State of Education address. If they are unable to attend, the question may be asked by member of the Rhode Island Student Advisory Council, who will identify from whom the question originated.
