Narrow River Land Trust information session: The Narrow River Land Trust will host an Information Session at the North Kingstown Free Library to describe its new Wildlife Habitat Improvement Project on the land trust's 200 acre permanently conserved Viall property. Speakers: Gary Casabona, State Biologist from Natural Resources Conservation Service, will address how to develop and manage forest habitats for wildlife, and Nancy Karraker, Ph.D, Assistant Professor of Wetland Ecology at URI, will describe her ongoing research tracking turtles on the property in conjunction with the land trust project. Refreshments at 5:30 p.m., presentation starts at 6.
