Wickford Art Association Announces 'A is for...' Exhibit

The exhibit will be on display at the North Kingstown Beach Street Gallery from April 9 through May 2.

NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI — Wickford Art Association, a nonprofit dedicated to educating, encouraging, and inspiring artists, has announced the launch of its "A is for ..." exhibit, which will be on display at the North Kingstown Beach Street Gallery from Friday, April 9 through May 2.

The all media exhibit will include works representing styles and genres beginning with the letter "A", including abstract, avant-garde, arabesque, architectural, art deco, and art nouveau.

All submitted works have been reviewed and juried for entry by Lee Chabot of Chabot Gallery, an artist who has been recognized nationally and internationally for his paintings.

The "A is for..." exhibit will be open for in-person viewing Wednesday through Saturday from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. until 3 p.m. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all works in the exhibit will be placed online for virtual viewing as well.

Wickford Art Association has approximately 450 members from New England and hosts art exhibits, classes, lectures, and workshops. The nonprofit's mission is to inspire its members and promote fine arts in the community.
