Wickford Art Association To Host Juried Artist Member Exhibit

The exhibit will be on display from May 7 through May 23 at the North Kingstown Beach Street Gallery.

NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI — Wickford Art Association (WAA), a nonprofit dedicated to educating, encouraging, and inspiring artists, will host its annual Invitational Exhibit for Juried Artist Members this May.

The exhibit, which will be on display at the North Kingstown Beach Street Gallery from May 7 through May 23, will feature the work of 10 current Juried Artist Members and display a variety of mediums and creative points of view.

  • Laura White Carpenter, mixed media artist
  • Victoria Corey, watercolorist
  • Nancy Curry, pastel artist
  • Betsey MacDonald, oil painter
  • Avis O'Neill, photographer
  • Felicia Touhey, printmaker
  • Patricia Varon, watercolorist

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Invitational Exhibit for Juried Artist Members will be available for both in-person and virtual viewing. The gallery is open to the public Wednesdays through Saturdays from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. and Sundays from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Wickford Art Association has approximately 450 members from New England and hosts art exhibits, classes, lectures, and workshops. The nonprofit's mission is to inspire its members and promote fine arts in the community.
