Wickford Sewer Construction Update

The contractor will start to mill Phillips, Brown, and Main Streets this week.

-On Sunday, May 20th at 7 PM, the contractor will start to mill Phillips, Brown, and Main Streets.

-On Monday, May 21st, the contractor will begin paving the milled roads, while continuing to mill, including Post Road and West Main Street up to the Cranston Funeral Home. The work will continue at night from 7 PM to 7 AM, until finished. The roads will be open to traffic, but there will be no parking during overnight hours.

-The final reconstruction and paving for the rest of West Main Street from the Cranston Funeral Home to Post Road will be completed in the autumn. Also, the sidewalks will be restored in the autumn, by which time it's anticipated that the properties will have all connected to the sewer system.
