Christmas Caroling on Horseback

The Aquidneck Island 4H Club is holding its fifth annual caroling event on Dec. 18 at 11 a.m.

PORTSMOUTH, RI—The Aquidneck Riders 4H club, based in Portsmouth, is riding and singing carols on Dec. 18 in Common Fence Point. It's the group's annual Christmas Caroling event.

According to Megan Elwell, everyone is welcome.

"You do not need to bring a horse to join in the fun," Elwell said. But please leave the pets inside.

The Christmas Caroling on Horseback leaves from the Veterans of Foreign Wars at 11 a.m. The carolers are asked to bring a canned good, as there will be a collection for the veterans.

Snacks and drinks will be provided at the VFW afterward, Elwell said.
