Clements Marketplace is hosting a job fair on Saturday, June 7, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Human Resources Director Valerie Brando said that there are several part time openings in many departments, including the bakery, deli, front end and produce.
"We are looking for applicants with both day and evening availability to fill these positions," she said. "They can stop by the fair to fill out an application and meet with someone to get more information."
Clements offers competitive wages and a friendly team atmosphere, Brando said.Â
Clements, located at 2575 East Main Road in Portsmouth, used to be the old First National Supermarket, then an IGA. It became Clements Marketplace in 1993, and in 2000, the doors opened to their new supermarket after a major renovation and expansion project after the store bought a bordering property in 1998.
Today, Clements Marketplace is celebrating 34 years in business and is a staple in the local small business community.
