Community Rallies to Support Family of Portsmouth Firefighter after Child's Diagnosis

A GoFundMe has been established to help the Lautieri family after their 9-year-old was diagnosed with cancer.

The community is rallying to help a local family in a time of need.

Grayson has started treatment at Hasbro Children’s Hospital, but the medical costs are daunting.

“There is no way to describe the challenge ahead,” write David and Amy Paull, who have set up a GoFundMe to help raise money so the Lautieri family can focus on what’s important — and not feel additional stress from medical bills. “We have stepped up to ask for your support in helping the family keep the financial burden to a minimum. ”

Grayson is a compassionate and caring youngster, the Paulls said, and he loves being with his five siblings and loves sports, music, art, animals and is a dance student at Shannon’s School of Dance. He also wants to take up surfing as soon as he can.

“Join Team Grayson and let’s get him and his family through this. Let’s watch Grayson surf!”
