Cox Customers Experiencing Outages In Portsmouth, Little Compton, Newport

Cox is reporting outages in East Bay towns.

Cox customers in several towns across the East Bay - including in Portsmouth - are without service this afternoon.

An automated message on Cox's customer support line calmly informed callers that customers are currently experiencing service interruptions in Newport, Little Compton and Portsmouth.

On Facebook, customers in all three towns offered varying reports on whether or not services are working in there homes.

Joseph C. Brady (5 p.m.) Will they get credits to the bills???

Keisha Mcleod (5:05 p.m. ) I had problems last night, Nome today.... Crossing my fingers.

Norah Schneider (5:35 p.m) I have lost internet 3 times in the past 5 days. Called Cox and said they're working on it. Of course it starts after they cash my outrageous check to them.
