Cox Customers Experiencing Outages In Portsmouth, Little Compton, Newport

Cox customers in several towns across the East Bay - including in Portsmouth - are without service this afternoon.

An automated message on Cox's customer support line calmly informed callers that customers are currently experiencing service interruptions in Newport, Little Compton and Portsmouth.

On Facebook, customers in all three towns offered varying reports on whether or not services are working in there homes.

On Porstmouth Patch Facebook:

Jeanean Leung (5:15 p.m.) Been in and out for the last four days

Donna Nathlar Barone (5 p.m.) So far so good...Internet, TV, phone or all?

On Tiverton-Little Compton Patch Facebook:

Jillian Frias (5:10 p.m.) And tiverton

Sherry Blanchette Raposa (5 p.m.) This has been going on for two weeks! Not that Cox will ever offer a discount for the inconvenience! I can't wait for Fios to get to the are so I can ditch all of my cox services!

On Newport Patch Facebook:

Connie Welles (5:10 p.m.) I lost phone and internet by cox last night twice and just now

Joseph C. Brady (5 p.m.) Will they get credits to the bills???

Keisha Mcleod (5:05 p.m. ) I had problems last night, Nome today.... Crossing my fingers.

Norah Schneider (5:35 p.m) I have lost internet 3 times in the past 5 days. Called Cox and said they're working on it. Of course it starts after they cash my outrageous check to them.
