Firefly Yoga Festival Set For Saturday
The festival starts at 10 a.m. at Glen Park, Portsmouth.

PORTSMOUTH, RI - From Firefly Yoga Festival: An annual event, celebrating the yoga community of the Newport County region of RI. Join us for a day of yoga, meditation, music, vendors, food and fun!
General admission costs $25 and includes parking, admission to all yoga classes, demonstrations and music. A non-yoga ticket will be $15, Kids 14 and younger are free. YOGA CLASSES: Yoga classes will start at 10am and continue through-out the afternoon. There will be three rounds of classes (10a.m., 11:30a.m. and 1p.m.), with two classes occurring simultaneously during each time slot. Teachers will co-lead each class, incorporating their own style of yoga.
WORKSHOPS: Smaller focused workshops will be offered this year, such as a Mindful Photography workshop with Kim Fuller of Middletown (Photographer and Author), a handstand clinic with Abbe Ciulla of Tiverton, a meditation/walk workshop with Rebecca Polan of Newport, an Introduction to Cacao with Nola Ganem, and an essential oils Zen Blend class with Galen Brew. Half-hour breaks are scheduled between each class to enjoy the music and browse the offerings of the vendors that will be on site.

LIVE MUSIC: Live local musicians Bill Bartholomew, Melissa Chaplin, Dave Flamand and Kyle Bell will be playing throughout the day.
ALL DAY OFFERINGS: Wolf Moon's Fire will be providing Tarot Card readings, dream interpretations, Ruin readings and more. Newport Community Yoga will be sponsoring the “Healing Grove”, featuring meditation, massage services, Reiki, reflexology in the lower tree grove of the park.
FOOD: Acacia Cafe based in Tiverton will be provide a menu offering vegan and vegetarian dishes.
VENDORS: 23 Vendors have joined us, including clothing, jewelry, art, photography, essential oils, herbal products, henna painting and more!
