Join the Survey. Evaluate the Hurricane Preparedness Brochure

The purpose of this study is to determine the quality and effectiveness of the Hurricane Preparedness Outreach Brochure.

The survey link opens with an informed consent that details the study and grants access to the survey. It is anonymous, contains 27-questions, and takes less than 10 minutes to complete.

Literature shows educational and income level may influence readability.

Outreach and program communications materials often require reading comprehension skills that are much higher than the 5th to 8th grade reading comprehension level.

Written communication materials can be simplified by using shorter words and shorter sentences which may improve recipients’ understanding.
