Latest Snow Projections for Friday and Saturday in Portsmouth

With temperatures plummeting and snow on the way, here's a look at what forecasters are saying to expect tonight into tomorrow.

PORTSMOUTH, RI — After landing a straight jab of subzero windchills, mother nature is coming right back with a left hook to the body in the form of snowy conditions Friday afternoon into Saturday morning.
The National Weather Service projects one to three inches of snow, with accumulations of less than one inch possible Friday night.

Most of the snow starts after 3 a.m.

Saturday will tell a different tale according to the NWS. Snow will mix with rain in the morning, turning to all rain after 10 a.m., with a high temperature of 46.

Overall, temperatures are expected to plunge to 18 overnight Friday. Luckily, temperatures are set to return to 56 Sunday.
