Motorcyclist, 25, Killed In Portsmouth Crash
Police said the Massachusetts man crashed his motorcycle on a Route 24 ramp.
PORTSMOUTH, RI — A Massachusetts man died Saturday afternoon after crashing his motorcycle on a Route 24 ramp. Portsmouth police said the crash happened near Boyds Lane around 4:45 p.m. The 25-year-old man was on the on-ramp to the northbound side of the highway at the time of the crash.
The man was transported to Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, where he was pronounced dead.
Police do not believe any other vehicles were involved in the crash. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
