Parking Ban In Place In Portsmouth Ahead Of Forecasted Snow
So far, no Rhode Island school districts have canceled or delayed classes on Wednesday.
PORTSMOUTH, RI — A parking ban is in place in Portsmouth ahead of forecasted light snow starting Tuesday night. The ban will remain in place from 12 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Wednesday.
Not much snow is expected to fall in Rhode Island; most places will see less than an inch. The National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather outlook ahead of up to "one to two inches" of snowfall starting after 7 p.m.
No schools have delayed or canceled classes for Wednesday morning. So far, Scituate is the only other town to have a parking ban in place, starting 10 p.m. Tuesday and lasting until noon on Wednesday.
