4 Hurt In Portsmouth Crash
Four people were injured following a three-vehicle crash on East Main Road; two were hospitalized.

PORTSMOUTH, RI —Two people were taken to the hospital on Thursday afternoon following a three-vehicle crash on East Main Road. The crash happened at the intersection of McCorrie Lane around 3 p.m., Portsmouth firefighters said.
East Main Road was briefly shut down as emergency crews worked to treat the injured and clear the crash scene. Two drivers were taken to the hospital, firefighters said, and the third driver and one passenger were injured and treated at the scene.
Fire crews used hydraulic equipment to free the vehicles to tow them away.
