Portsmouth Police Log: Oct. 18-21

PORTSMOUTH, RI — Here are recent arrests. Information comes from the police log.

Oct. 18

Stephen Sullivan Souza, 26, of Portsmouth, was stopped at 4:17 p.m. at East Main and Martens roads and taken into custody on a bench warrant.

Oct. 19

Sandor Erdei, 50, of Fall River, Mass., was stopped on Bristol Ferry Road at the Mount Hope Bridge at 12:58 a.m. He was charged with Driving under the influence, first offense, and cited for refusal to submit to a chemical test.

Jeremy Vincent Wardlow, 25, of Portsmouth, was arrested at 4:55 p.m. on Mason Avenue and charged with breaking and entering (into a dwelling when the resident was home).

Oct. 21

David Emerson Utley, 49, of Lakeville, Mass., was stopped at 12:44 a.m. on West Main Road at Locust Avenue. He was charged with Driving under the influence, first offense, and cited for refusal to submit to a chemical test.
