Portsmouth Police Warn Residents About Break-In
Police said a man broke into a house on Petonanowet Lane on Thursday afternoon.
PORTSMOUTH, RI — Police say an intruder was seen inside a Petonanowet Lane home on Thursday around 12:45 p.m. Officers responded for a break in and were told the man had gotten inside and then ran away. He is described as a white man with a tanned or olive complexion. He is in his mid-fifties, medium build and 5'5" to 5'7" tall.
The same man was seen in neighborhoods around McCorrie Lane, police said. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 401-683-0300.
