RI Labor Day Weekend Weather: Harvey Breaks Up Nice Days
Also, see when the "last day of summer" looks to be.

Labor Day Weekend is upon us. For those of you hoping to squeeze out one more grill session or maybe even one more beach day, you're in luck - as long as you time it right. A cool holiday weekend is expected to be broken up by thunderstorms before a calm, warm Labor Day. Then it gets even better for one more day.
Late Saturday night through Sunday night is when poor weather is expected. Remnants of the deadly storm Harvey will bring thunderstorms and dump some rain on New England before it dries and heats up Monday across the region.
The Tuesday back from holiday is often seen by many as the "first day of fall," but we're seeing it as the "last day of summer" — Sept. 2 will be 80 degrees and sunny. It is the last day above 75 degrees in Weather.com's forecast, which currently stretches to Sept. 15. Which means Tuesday could be the last 80-degree day for seven or eight months. You may want to stretch the vacation one more day if possible.
