Spring Garden Kickoff
Join us at Norman Bird Sanctuary for a spring garden planting & cultural presentation by the Aquidneck Island Intertribal Indian Council
Saturday, May 16th | 12 - 2 pm
Join us in NBS’ Good Gardens education space to kick off the growing season. Families are invited to help plant corn and beans in the Three Sisters garden bed. Afterward, theAquidneck Island Intertribal Indian Council will use traditional dance, drumming, and show & tell to educate the public on Native culture.
Families/all ages welcome; participants may bring lawn chairs, blankets, and snacks.
