Which RI Beaches Are Open For Thursday?
Third Beach in Middletown is safe for swimming now, but three other beaches are closed due to high bacteria counts, the state said.
PORTSMOUTH, RI — Third Beach in Middletown is safe for swimming now, but three other beaches should be closed for swimming due to high bacteria counts, the state said. They are Sandy Point Beach in Portsmouth; Conimicut Point Beach in Warwick; and Bristol Town Beach in Bristol.
Also, the Slack Reservoir (on the Johnston/Greenville line) remains closed due to blue-green algae.
