PROVIDENCE, RI — Bob Dylan and his “Never Ending Tour” are coming to the Providence Performing Arts Center on Nov. 20. The tour kicks off on Oct. 11 in California, with a final performance in Philadelphia on Nov. 21. Get tickets now to see Dylan perform his classic hits.

Born Robert Allen Zimmerman, Dylan got his start playing country and folk music while he was attending college. He was offered his first recording contract in 1961, launching a career that made him one of the most influential and recognized voices in pop culture.

Releasing 38 studio albums, Dylan has also won numerous awards, including the Grammy award for Best Solo Rock Performance in 2007 with the single “Someday Baby,” off his 32nd studio album, “Modern Times.” He was also inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame with his folk single, “Blowin’ in the Wind" in 1994.

In 2016 Dylan was presented with his most prestigious award yet, the Nobel Prize in Literature for his achievements in having “created new poetic expressions within the great American song tradition."

Throughout the years, Dylan has played upwards of 100 shows a year. His fall tour promises to give fans what they’ve been waiting for — an exciting and historical evening with an American artist whose long list of singles covers everything from folk to gospel music to rock. And if Dylan’s setlists from his European tours earlier this year are any indication, the audience can expect to see Dylan perform a wide selection of his material, including “Like a Rolling Stone” and “Cry a While.”
