As they say goodbye to 2019, Lynyrd Skynyrd is excited to announce that they’ll be back in 2020 with numerous North American dates, kicking off in Savannah, Georgia, on March 7, 2020. According to lead vocalist Johnny Van Zant it’s taking a while to say goodbye to all their fans — “Hey, we want to hit every place we've ever played and every place we didn't play before we say goodbye.”

Lynyrd Skynyrd released their first studio album in 1973, which sold more than one million records and featured one of the band’s greatest single hits, “Free Bird.” They followed up in 1974 with their next album, “Second Helping,” which showcased what has become their signature song, “Sweet Home Alabama.”
