Legendary Vinyl and CD Show back at Dedham American Legion in Massachusetts this Sunday, right up Route 1, the Automile, Near Papa Giinos
Wow, a publicist sent me the information on this legendary show which I remember so well at the Sack 57 Hotel in Boston (where the Sack 57 movie theater was...and still is, though I think it's under another name) and the John Hancock Hall (the smaller Hancock building) in Massachusetts back in the day.
Didn't know this series is still alive and well. It is such a treat to dive into so much vinyl, and they tell me there are deals galore, $1.00 records, $2.00 records, make an offer, etc. etc.
Famous DJ Jeff Lawrence is looking for the old WMEX album pictured above and told the publicist he can't make the show. So if you find it alert Jeff on Facebook! The WRKO album (and DJ Jeff Lawrence had a great oldies show on RKO that we all tuned in to) is pictured above with a rare picture of Lou Reed and two other members of the Velvet Underground. All sorts of rarities in the grooves, in the album covers and more.
