RI Museum of Science And Art Holding Adults-Only 'Chopped' Night
The "RIMSA After Dark" event will feature music, food, drinks and fun activities.
PROVIDENCE, RI — Adults are invited to leave the kids at home and come play for the evening at the Rhode Island Museum of Science and Art's first-ever "after dark" event. The 21-plus evening will invite attendees to participate in "Chopped"-style challenges.
The event will be held on Saturday from 7:30 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. at the museum at 763 Westminster St. Tickets cost $15 per person and include one drink tickets. Attendees can earn additional tickets by taking part in activities.
The night will feature live music, snacks, beer and wine. Musicians are encouraged to bring instruments and perform at the open mic.

The highlight of the evening will be a series of creative challenges based on the hit Food Network TV show "Chopped." Participants will be given a set of materials that must be used during the challenge. Challenges will include making something fly in an air tube and creating a marble roller coaster.
Event attendees can park on the street or in a lot behind the museum, accessible from Dean Street.
