This Week In Worcester says the PawSox are moving there.
PAWTUCKET, RI — A Worcester, Mass., news outlet says the PawSox are leaving McCoy and Rhode Island for a new stadium on Canal Street in Worcester. According to the story published by This Week In Worcester, the announcement's set for Friday. The actual move will not happen until 2021.
Patch called the PawSox and was told they are aware of the story and there is no comment at this time.
Other sources say an announcement is coming but may be about the City of Worcester's offer.
