Somewhere: a virtual choir experience with the Providence Singers
20 singers submitted individuals recordings of "Somewhere" from West Side Story, and were edited together for this community video.
On April 17, 2020, Providence Singers shared a virtual performance of "Somewhere," the beloved classic from West Side Story, composed by Leonard Bernstein, with lyrics by Stephen Sondheim. Chris Walsh Productions edited and mixed this stirring rendition of the fan-favorite Broadway song.
"Our community means everything to us, and staying connecting is so important during this difficult time," says Artistic Director Christine Noel. "We've been working hard to bring the Providence Singers experience into our audience's home, and are so proud to release this performance to the world."
