Thousands Race To Purchase 'Hamilton' Tickets At PPAC
None of the 24 shows have sold out yet, but some are getting close, with only a few seats still open.

PROVIDENCE, RI — PPAC Square was bustling Saturday morning, where hundreds gathered for a chance to be in the room where it happens by scoring coveted tickets to the national tour of Hamilton at the Providence Performing Arts Center in August. Despite the large crowd at the box office and thousands of online sales, there are still at least a few dozen tickets left for each of the 24 performances.
All tickets went on sale at 8 a.m. on Saturday. In-person sales were organized into groups using numbered wristbands, while web users were sent into an online waiting room. PPAC's website crashed less than an hour after tickets went on sale, but the issue was quickly addressed, and PPAC apologized for any inconvenience on social media.
We received the notices and have corrected the issue with our online queue. The webpage will look different than it did previously, but tickets are still available online. We are working as fast as we can to make sure as many people as possible are able to buy tickets (1/2)

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. If you have been waiting in the queue, we recommend opening a new window or tab and going to the ticketing page again. You should be able to purchase tickets now! (2/2)
