Crews Recover Two Bodies Off Conimicut Point Beach In Warwick
Rescue crews on Sunday afternoon launched a search via air and sea for a man, 30, and girl, 11, in Narragansett Bay.

WARWICK, RI — A marine task force and U.S. Coast Guard conducted an intensive search for two missing swimmers at Conimicut Point Beach in Warwick on Sunday afternoon and Monday.
Update, July 7, 1:15 p.m.: Two bodies have been recovered.
The Coast Guard said crews were searching for an 11-year-old girl and a 30-year-old man in Narragansett Bay. Reporters said crews were at the sand bank area. At around 7 p.m., it was reported that crews recovered the body of a man. Crews continued to search for a child.

Mayor Frank Picozzi said on Facebook that two additional people were pulled from the water and transported to the hospital on Sunday.
